9th -- Writing Workshop with Verena Tay :
My Story : Crafting Personal Life into Art
2 pm ~ 6 pm @ BooksActually

The strongest stories are often personal ones because you have
lived the experience and recount that experience from the heart.
Yet, how can you transform mere biographical/anecdotal accounts
and cringing naval-gazing material into thought-provoking and touch-
ing tales that will fascinate the audience of your choice? In My Story,
you will gain valuable, and practical, tips on how to shape real-life
experience into compelling works of fiction.

16th -- Silkscreen Printing Workshops with Monster Gallery (Part I)
2 pm ~ 4 pm @ BooksActually

In this 2-session hands-on basic silk screen printing workshop,
participants will learn how to make their own prints using two
basic screen printing methods: the Cut-Out Stencil method
and the Direct Block-Out method.

Materials and paper are provided, but participants may bring
their own plain T-shirts (light-coloured) if they want to try
printing on them.

* NOTE *

~ You will get to bring home your own set of tools after the workshop.
